“In an era where the word “friend” is often associated with a number rather than a relationship, I hope to remind children what it truly means to be a friend.
Through lovable characters and stories (and using the tool of the Friendship Pledge Promise), I am committed to doing what I can to encourage children to develop into kind, considerate, and compassionate friends.”
What inspired this series?
“As a child, I didn’t recognize my personal value and had no vision for my future. I want to do my part to help children to see the good in themselves and in each other.
Just think: The creative day-dreamers could be your future designers, actors, and musicians; the bookworms may help solve the ills of our world; and what if the child doing the bullying is actually a future CEO who is just leading their peers in the wrong direction? Everyone has a gift, everyone has a place, and we all need each other to fill in the gaps.”

Farlee and Friends ~ Our Core Values ~
Be kind, and treat others as you would like to be treated. This is the core of every healthy friendship. Friends love at all times.
We believe that everyone has something good to offer the world. We feel that we should help develop the skills of the next generation—as well as help them recognize the “good” in each other. We hope to do our part in developing acceptance and understanding by highlighting the unique qualities each child possesses. Friends help each other be the best that they can be!
We hope to inspire courage in children to do the right thing and set an example for their peers. We want kids to be a friend to the friendless, and remind them that sometimes it takes courage to be kind. Friends have the courage to stand up for what’s right.
Farlee and Friends Friendship Pledge:
1. Friends love at all times.
2. Friends help each other be the best that they can be.
3. Friends have the courage to stand up for what’s right.
4. Friends accept you for YOU!
5. Friends have FUN!
